2014 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

2014 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir

Our 2014 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir comes from the iconic Weber Vineyard planted by Vivian & Arthur Weber beginning in 1976 in the heart of the Dundee Hills. Fermented in a wooden open top tank this wine is cherry and plum, sassafras and violet pastille. Palate is expansive and diaphanous with tannins supple like velvet.

The 2014 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir opens with aromas of cherry and plum, sassafras, cedar, rose petals, violet pastilles and Spanish paprika. On the palate is a fruity core of cherry and Emily's Oregon grape and quince jam, vanilla sugar, thumbed penny, chili powder and black salt licorice. The texture is plush, expansive and succulent with mouth filling diaphanous tannins and a persistent finish both confectionary and saline.
