Our Grenache comes from Garnier Vineyard just east of the town of Mosier, Oregon on the banks of the mighty Columbia River in the Columbia Gorge AVA. Wrought by the work of this region’s dramatic geologic history, the soil here is a shallow sandy loam with basalt protrusions and produces lively, energetic wines that are as distinctive and dramatic as the environs.  

TASTING NOTES:

Tis the season for this Holiday in a glass. Full of wild berries, spiced plum and a suggestion of Grandma’s mincemeat pie, the Christmas spices are here along with Rooibos and graham cracker, floral rose and orange blossom. There’s a classic white pepper earthiness, fruity blueberry & cherry, fig newton and a hint of malty cocoa. The palate is plush, tangy and succulent, sustaining a song of celebration.
